Rock Climbing

There are more than 30 routes to climb with fixed and mobile protections. The routes have heights that vary from 10m to 30m, in basaltic rock, with good adherence to the hands. We offer 2 options:

Without guide - People, who possess the necessary skill and experience in Rock Climbing, can access the routes without guides. Must be at least two people that first, will pass through a climbing ability test at the wall climbing, and also may use own equipments.

With guide – For the visitor who already knows rock climbing but is alone, or who wants to try but don’t have experience. The Cânion Iguaçu can provide the equipments and access the routes with the guide.

Duration: From 3 to 5hs.

Ideal period: This activity is best suited for the morning and without rain.

Ages: Is only available for people from 12 years old or above.  For people between the ages of 12 and 17 it is necessary an authorization signed by a responsible person (parent, relatives over the age of 21, or legal guardian). Without the responsibility terms signed, they can’t do the Rock Climbing.

Safety: The individual safety equipment includes a harness, carbine, helmet, ropes, breaks and sling.

Important: The safety equipment used follows the norms of UIAA – The International Mountaineering and Climbing Federation.

Tips: It’s advisable to wear light clothes, comfortable footwear and sunscreen. It is very important to have drinking water and nutritional snacks with you.
