Cascading  in the Iguassu National Park

In Foz do Iguaçu, the thrill of adventure tourism emotion can be combined with the nature contemplation and with the complete interaction with the environment. One of the ways of achieving it is to experiment the feeling of a rapel in the water, in a fall in the Forest and during one of the most popular tours in the park: the cascading at the Macuco Fall. The access is made through the Macuco Safari trail.
In this activity the tourist performs a descent on a rope, which is done through the water that falls from the fall known as the Macuco Fall, 25 meters of high. A guide at the top and another one at the bottom are the ones responsible for the security during the activity.
After this adventure, the tourist can go back to the Macuco center through the same trail, or continue the Macuco Safari tour.

• The use of safety equipment (harness, ropes, helmet and brake) is required.
• We offer lockers in our center. Price for rent: R$ 5,00.
• The Macuco Safari has the Tourism Adventure Certificate – Security Management – NBR 15331, issued by the ABNT (Brazilian Technical Standards Association)
• The Macuco Safari has ramps and lifts, providing more comfort, convenience and accessibility to all who choose to ride.
• We recommend the use of clothes and comfortable shoes and also bringing a towel and a change of clothes.
• Minimum age:  from 7 years old, depending on the weight (35 kg minimum)
• Approximate duration of the tour: one hour.
• Opening: daily from 09:00a.m. to 05:30 p.m.
• Rules for values:
. Adults - 12 years old up
. Children - 7 to 11 years old
. Golden Age -  over 60 years old
