A
600-meter foot trails leads to the waterfall baptized Macuco
Falls; a spectacle of color and magic. Orchids, palm trees,
bromeliads, centenaria trees and with some luck wild animals
(which use the trail as safe footing through the underbrush)
like a present from the ecological gods to ecstatic visitors
can be seen here. The last stop is the Macuco Safari docks,
on the banks of the Iguassu River, where the last and most enticing
part of the excursion begins.
